Four mandates, each priced as a fixed scope
Every service line below is delivered against a written scope, a named lead consultant and a fixed fee agreed before any work commences. Hourly billing is not used. The descriptions set out what is included, what you receive, and how long a typical engagement runs.
Biometric tracking assurance
Wearable and optical systems are usually bought on the strength of a vendor demonstration and then trusted indefinitely. We test whether the numbers your staff act on are actually reliable in your venue, with your athletes and with your collection routine. The work covers device placement, sampling behaviour, synchronisation across systems, and the derivation of the load metrics your programme depends on.
Where we find a defect we quantify its effect on the decision, not merely on the raw signal. A two per cent bias in distance is irrelevant to a selection call and material to a return-to-play threshold, and the report says which is which.
- —Independent accuracy and drift testing against a controlled reference course
- —Clock synchronisation review across GPS, optical and heart-rate streams
- —Reconstruction of derived load metrics from raw output
- —Collection-routine audit with practitioner interviews
- —Written remediation plan ranked by decision impact

Tactical data integration
Event data and positional data are usually held by different suppliers, on different clocks, with different definitions of the same moment. We join them into a single queryable model of the contest so that spatial questions can be answered without a fortnight of manual work each time they are asked.
Every model we hand over is accompanied by an out-of-sample validation, a documented feature dictionary and an explicit statement of the conditions under which it should not be trusted. We would rather deliver a narrower model that your analysts can defend to a coach than a broader one that nobody can explain.
- —Event-to-tracking alignment with documented tolerance
- —Spatial occupation and pressure metrics fitted to your competition
- —Out-of-sample validation with calibration plots
- —Reproducible notebook handed to your analysts
- —Working session with the coaching group on interpretation
Intelligence infrastructure
Most organisations do not have a data problem so much as a plumbing problem: five systems, four spreadsheets, no agreed definition of a training session. We design the repository and the pipelines that turn that estate into one governed source of truth, then oversee the implementation carried out by your own staff or your chosen supplier.
Because we sell no software, the architecture is chosen for your constraints rather than for a licence we hold. Governance is treated as part of the build: access boundaries between medical and performance data, retention schedules, and an auditable record of who queried what.
- —Inventory of every current source, owner and refresh cadence
- —Canonical schema with a written definition for each entity
- —Pipeline design with monitoring and failure alerting
- —Access model separating medical from performance data
- —Retention schedule aligned to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)

Commissioned research
Boards periodically face a question that no existing report answers: whether a scheduling change is defensible, whether an emerging technology is worth buying before its competitors do, whether a recruitment model holds up in a different competition. We take that question, agree a hypothesis and an analysis plan in advance, and report what the data supports.
The analysis plan is signed off before the data is opened, which prevents the outcome from being shaped by the search. Where the evidence is inconclusive, the paper says so; we regard a clean negative result as a valid deliverable.
- —Pre-registered hypothesis and analysis plan
- —Literature and comparable-competition review
- —Sensitivity analysis across plausible specifications
- —Board-ready paper plus a technical appendix
- —Optional presentation to your board or executive
How engagements are priced
Every proposal states the scope, the fee, the delivery date and the named lead. The commercial position below applies to all four service lines and is set out in full in our terms of engagement.
One fee, agreed in writing. Variations require a written quotation and your acceptance.
A standing monthly allocation of consultant time for organisations that need continuing input.
We accept no rebate or equity from any supplier we may recommend to you.
Client datasets are destroyed or returned after delivery under a published retention schedule.
